Launch of aes220

Aessent Technology is pleased to introduce its new aes220 High-Speed USB FPGA mini-modules based around the Xilinx Spartan 3AN XC3S200AN and XC3S400AN devices.

Incorporating a High-Speed USB 2.0 Cypress CY7C68013A FX2LP micro-controller, 128Mb of 100MHz SDRAM a crystal clock oscillator as well as their own DC/DC power converter the mini-modules combine flexibility and performance on a tiny 42x61mm PCB.

The aes220a loaded with the XC3S200AN Xilinx FPGA will be available from mid-April 2011 while the aes220b loaded with the XC3S400AN will be released during the beginning of June of the same year.
