Nothing like the smell of baking in the morning
Nothing like the smell of baking in the morning...Although if it could have gone up in flames it probably would have...
PCB bonanza!
There's been a PCB bonanza through the post today at Aessent, with a raft of new daughter boards to the aes220 arriving by courier from Beta Layout in Ireland, including new voltage translator, freedom inertial sensor board, Pmod and Raspberry Pi GPIO modules.
Manual placement of BUFGMUX instances in a Spartan3AN chip
Something to be aware of while playing with manual placement of BUFGMUX in a Spartan 3AN chip.
Stacking up aes220 High-Speed USB boards
A short video showing how easy it is to stack up two or more aes220 High-Speed USB FPGA boards
aes220 High-Speed USB FPGA mini-module ports description
As you may already know the aes220 is a high-speed USB FPGA module for rapid prototyping with an emphasise on simplicity. It is ideal for learning and at the same time powerful and compact enough to be used on its own or integrated among other applications.
Communicating with the aes220 High-Speed FPGA Mini-Module over the USB port
This write-up demonstrates the communication process between the PC and the aes220 module over the USB port.
Running my first example
Programming the aes220 High-Speed USB FPGA module using Xinlinx ISE WebPACK and the aes220 programmer is very easy.
